Privacy policy

Essex Drainage & Construction Ltd is a limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17315731), based at 4C Manor Rd, Romford, RM1 2RA. This page covers the personal details we handle when you use this website or get in touch about drainage work.

The details we receive

Your name, phone number and email address, plus whatever you tell us about the problem, whether through the form here or by phone, WhatsApp or email. If you send photos of a drain, chamber or leak, we keep those with the enquiry.

What we do with them

We call or message you back, work out what is needed, quote for and carry out the job, and keep a record of what was done. We rely on your request to us, the contract if you go ahead, and our legitimate interest in running the business.

Who else sees them

Form enquiries land in the online system we use to manage calls and messages, which holds them for us. Nobody buys or rents our enquiry details. We pass them on only to people involved in your job, such as an engineer or a supplier, or when the law makes us.

How long we hold on to them

Enquiries that go nowhere are cleared out after a reasonable period. Records of completed work are kept for as long as our insurance, accounting and tax duties require, then deleted.

What you can ask of us

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, have mistakes corrected, have it erased, or ask us to stop using it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled things, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

The site uses cookies needed for the enquiry form. With your permission, we also use a Google Ads cookie to understand whether an advert led to an enquiry. You can change your choice using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. If you reject optional cookies, you can still use the website and contact us.
